Retrospective: My trip to Moscow in december 2006

I wanted to tell you about this trip a long time ago before the Christmas celebration, but never did it because of lack of time. But now while I'm doing my practical work I finally find some time for that....

For the first I want to give an advice: Do not buy a cheap flying ticket - it is not worth it:-))... Instead of flying straight ahead from Stockholm to Moscow we bought a "cheaper" ticket from Göteborg to Moscow changing air plains in Frankfurt..we spent
money by shopping at tax free stores in Frankfurt which made our tickets cost more expensive than if we flight without changing flights. So it took twice more time to get to Moscow and more in expenses.

To be honest I had been little bit skeptical before my trip about capital of Russia and the Russians ....here in Sweden we hear and see from the mass media just negative things about Russia.

My trip took only few days and therefore I couldn't see the megapolis in all the greatness and the beauty. But during those 5 days I had I've got only positive impression both of the city and the people who live there.

Moscow is really beautiful and full of energy still growing city and people is not so aggressive and evil as we expected them to be..sorry!:-)

Life speed is very hectic there in a comparison with Göteborg...people are running all the time especially in a subway. We felt ourself as a couple of relaxed smiling - all - the time - idiots among the others. Surprisingly I didn't feel myself as an alien there though I've never been before in Moscow.

I see forward to travel there more....
