I haven't watched the fireworks in years, in fact I was asleep before midnight this year, so I didn't even hear them. On the 4th of July, however, even tho I didn't see the fireworks directly, from my window I saw their reflections on a glass building downtown - it was more interesting than the fireworks themselves - it was as tho someone was splashing buckets of beautiful paint against the building.
