Outfit of the day: New Year's Eve at the Avalon Hotel..

Before I get in to my New Year's party dress I met one of my friends in the city to share presents and toast some Champagne for a happy New Year 2010.

Then I was wearing my new and favorite dress in futuristic style by H&M Trend, brooch - vintage, hip-high leather boots by Jimmy Choo for H&M.

Hmm...at first look at this photo I didn't see anything wrong, but then I began feel something fishy.

Birkin - the dream bag "number one" of all fashionistas of the world which costs a fortune - on the beach?!

While we are spending all our money and not even own money(credit card) by shopping like crazy all year around, for what? In order to such people as Marc Jacobs could have most expensive beach bags ever....while we are getting a lot of debts and piles of last season clothing....

This photo makes me be more aware of my economy.

Thanks Marc;-)!!! You opened my eyes. No shopping for me until summer....

How an inspiration turned to a dress...

While I was browsing these two quite inspirational blogs: Niotillfem - swedsih and The cherry blossom girl - french, I spotted a very beautiful dress from H&M Trend. I liked this dress on those two talented girls and wished I had it too:-)))

Said and done.

Yesterday I went to the local H&M and, lucky me, I bought it...

One dress with good material and cut and a hair-style that is good for your face  - ta da - you turn to a Lady....you do not need any magic at all:-)
